I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, and only recently have I decided to work in the digital arts because it allows me to experiment with different art forms. I want to engage viewers and immerse them inside the fantasy worlds I’ve created. I create these  works of fantasy to express my fascination with storytelling through imagery and how a single image can tell the viewer so much. I am drawn to the subject of fantasy because of my obsession with the medieval times and King Arthur and his Round Table. In the process of creating, I like to think about the ways I can link reality to the mystical worlds imagined. I want my viewers to believe that in each world of fantasy, these otherworldly abilities, animals, and ecosystems are “normal” to the composition.

To me, the most interesting details in my work are the cuts, scratches and bruises I give to my creations because it gives them a more realistic feel. I find inspiration in the ways other artists create their own fantasy scenarios and the techniques they use to immerse me inside their own worlds. Then I question what I can do to strengthen my own work. I approach the design process as if it were a problem to be solved. When I think back to my math classes, I liked to look at each problem from a different angle in hopes that the answer was sitting right in front of me and I just hadn't noticed yet. Unfortunately, most of the problems in my math classes didn't work out that way, but for artwork viewing my work at different angles allows me to push myself to new limits.
